Can We say thank you so much for making our dream ring a reality! I can’t believe how amazing it is!
This 'Ring of the Week' project was based on our client's brief that involved a bespoke engagement ring that didn't 'conform to the norm'. We were presented with a picture of a silver swirl ring that sat very flat to the finger and was quite wide. We needed to recreate a similar concept using diamonds and sapphires to compliment the original ring whilst remaining unique. We were conscious of proportions and dimensions as a wedding band would sit alongside the swirl . We opted for a split shank to balance the piece, which also prohibited the ring from 'spinning'. We added additional depth towards the head of the band and the setting to allow a platform for the diamonds to sit on. The band was created in Palladium, allowing for a total of 89 accent diamonds to be incorporated in the design, but allowing for a comfortable wear. The sapphire was colour matched from an image sent by the client, leading us to use this beautiful blue AA grade tone, completing the bespoke design to perfection.
