Can We say thank you so much for making our dream ring a reality! I can’t believe how amazing it is!
The 'Ring of the Week' project was based upon on a Christie's Auction house antique Fabergé ring that our client had seen. In the design brief, our client requested the same wide band look of the Fabergé ring, but with changes to the filigree pattern and stone setting. We selected a 0.62ct centre diamond with careful consideration, that was to sit quite low against the finger to ensure a comfortable, practical fit. Again, after considering the comfort preferences of our client, we created a solid underside to the ring, to sit smoothly against the finger. We used the accent diamonds within the various filigree openings in an organic pattern to achieve a 'scattered' look. The accent diamonds were prong set to allow the illusion of them being lightly cradled by the filigree detailing. A 14kt yellow Gold was used for the body of the ring with Platinum bands accenting the outer edges. The filigree pattern on the main band ring was to be organic and non uniform, which we created by using a variety of intricate detailing.
