Spring traditionally heralds the start of ‘wedding season’ and it’s easy to see why. Longer days, warmer temperatures and the prospect of being able to get outside among the blossom and newly opened flowers are always a tempting prospect for brides and grooms. So, as the seasons change, here’s some inspiration for your spring wedding…
Firstly, let’s look at colours and happily, the world is your oyster in terms of palettes for a spring wedding. Soft pastels or brighter tones (including coral, one of the wedding world’s current favourites) all look delightful at this time of year so pick the tones that suit you best and prepare yourself for something pretty.

Spring is a fabulous time for fantastic flavours so make sure that your wedding feast includes lots of seasonal produce and tasty treats for your guests to enjoy. Early soft fruits make the most delicious desserts and spring vegetables such as asparagus, Jersey Royal potatoes and baby heritage carrots bring colour and flavour to your table. Slow cooked spring lamb would make a hearty meal, freshened with a touch of mint.
As Shakespeare said ‘sweet lovers do love the spring’ and I’m sure you’ll agree that it really is one of the best seasons for a wedding.
